BLACKBIRD is my new racing hope.
I have been thinking for quite a lot of time about importing a dog that I could use also as a stud male. A dog that would be an excellent match for Aviaticus bitches.
I hope that BLACK meets my expectations not only on the racing tracks but also in breeding.
Why a dog from an unknown kennel ?
When buying a puppy I always put the breeders' and kennel's name on the second place. The most important are the lines that my future favourite carries. And I have known the parents of my BLACKY before.
That is why I knew I wanted a dog from this mating as soon as I found out about that particular litter. Most of all, BLACKY'S pedigree is completely different from the bitches of my kennel. This will allow me to avoid consanguinity that creates more and more problems in racing whippets' kennels. More and more often, the consanguinity breeding means health problems for future racing dogs. And to run fast and to win, a racing whippet must have a perfect psychic. BLACKY'S parents are whippets well-known by the admirers of dog racing.

( 47cm tall) is the best Belgian racing bitch in years of 1999, 2OOO, 2OO1.

Father: MAC - ARTHUR de Sheherazad
( 49.9 cm tall ) is one of the best French whippets.

BLACK is a very nice and lively dog. He feels very well in every doggy group.
A French type of whippet, 18 months old, 14,5 kg of weight and 50,5 cm of height.
On his first trainings in Hamburg (sand track) he got the admiration of the owners of other whippets. First time on the track, he behaved like an adult racing whippet. He was focused only on the "rabbit". With no doubts he was luring and when he caught it - there was no chance that he would let it go.
BLACKBIRD passed his license runs and after height measurement he will start his racing career. And I hope it will be a real career as his training times at the age of 17 months are sensational.
